Common Problems and Solutions During The use of Automatic Labeling Machines

An automatic labeling machine is a mechanical device used to apply labels and stickers to packages within a designated area.

The automatic labeling machine consists of label supply, label taking and labeling devices.

So what are the common problems and solutions during use?

  1. The label is not firmly attached

Insufficient label attachment is one of the common problems with automatic labeling machines. This may be caused by poor label quality, improper adjustment of the labeling machine, or an unclean surface.

Solutions include: checking the quality of the label to ensure it is compatible with the surface of the object to be attached; adjusting parameters such as labeling pressure, temperature and speed of the labeling machine; and keeping the surface of the object to be attached clean.

  2. Labels are misplaced or tilted

Label misalignment or tilt will affect the appearance quality of the product, which may be caused by sensor failure of the labeling machine, problems with the label delivery system, or inaccurate product positioning.

To solve this problem, you can check the working status of the sensor, clean or replace the sensor; check the label conveying system to ensure that the label is conveyed normally; optimize the product positioning device to ensure accurate product placement.

  3. Equipment failure

Fully automatic labeling machines may experience equipment failures during long-term use, such as loose conveyor belts, motor failures, etc.

In order to avoid such problems, it is very important to perform regular maintenance and upkeep on the equipment, including cleaning the equipment, checking the operating condition of the conveyor belt and motor, and replacing worn parts in a timely manner.

  4. Label printing quality issues

If the printed content on the label is blurry or unclear, the printer nozzle may be clogged or the ink supply may be insufficient.

The solution is to clean the print head, make sure there is enough ink, and check whether the print settings are correct.

  5. Insufficient training of operators

Operators who are not familiar with the operation and maintenance of fully automatic labeling machines may cause equipment failure and labeling quality problems. Therefore, companies should strengthen the training of operators to improve their skill levels and understanding of the equipment.

As mentioned above, the automatic labeling machine may encounter some common problems during use, but through reasonable solutions and effective maintenance, these problems can be effectively avoided and solved.
